Create a task
Learn how to create a task on the web, iOS, and Android apps.
Web
- From anywhere on the Voze web app, click the blue New button and select Note.
- "Company" and "Call Type" are mandatory.
- To find the company, simply enter its name in the search bar.
- Choose the appropriate "Call Type" from the dropdown menu.
- Once the company is selected, you can pick contacts to associate with the note.
- Optional: Type in the details from your call, visit, next steps, etc. in the note fields.
- To schedule a follow-up on your calendar, enter a description of the follow-up in the "Task Description" field and then choose the appropriate Start Date/Time and End Date/Time.
- Click Save to complete your task creation and that task will now be on your calendar.
iOS
- Tap the + button from anywhere in the app and select Create Task.
- Enter in the task description
- Tap on the Company selection and select a company from the list.
- If you create a task from the Company Profile page, it will automatically grab the company and associate the task.
- Select the Date and Time (optional)
- Tap Save in the top right corner.
Create a task via Record Note

- Tap the + button from anywhere in the app and select Record Note.
- Now you see a list of your assigned companies.
- Tap on the company you want to record the note for.
- Tap the magnifying glass in the top right to search the name of the company.
- If you need to add a new company, tap the Add New Company button.
- Tap on the company you want to record the note for.
- Now you see your note types. Select one and tap Next or Start Recording.
- Say "follow up" or "follow up task" followed by the date and time to schedule a follow up.
- Provide the details for your follow up.
- When you've completed your recording, tap Pause, and then Upload.
Android
Manually Create a Task
- Tap the + button from anywhere in the app and select Create Task.
- Enter in the task description
- Tap on the Company selection and select a company from the list.
- If you create a task from the Company Profile page, it will automatically grab the company and associate the task.
- Select the Date and Time (optional)
- Tap Save in the top right corner.
Create a task via Record Note

- Tap the blue + button from anywhere in the app and select Record Note.
- Now you see a list of your assigned companies.
- Tap on the company you want to record the note for.
- Tap the magnifying glass in the top right to search the name of the company.
- Tap on the company you want to record the note for.

- Tap the record button to begin recording.
- Say "follow up" or "follow up task" followed by the date and time to schedule a follow up.
- Provide the details for your follow up.
- When you've completed your recording, tap Stop, and then Upload.
