Create a contact by voice
Learn how to add a new contact by saying their name while you record a note.
Met someone new at a stop? Add them to Voze without leaving your note. Say create contact or create new contact and their name while you record, and Voze adds them to the note's company after the note processes.
Create a contact while you record
- Open the Voze Pro app.
- Tap the + icon and select Note.
- Pick the company and tap the blue microphone icon to start recording.
- Say "create contact" or "create new contact," then the person's name. For example: "Create new contact, Javier Sanchez, he's the shop manager."
- A first name is enough. Say their last name, job title, phone or mobile number, or email too, and Voze fills those in.
- Met more than one person? Say the phrase again before each name. You can add up to 10 contacts in one note.
- Finish your note and tap the blue checkmark to save it.
As soon as the note finishes processing, the contact is added to the note's company. You'll see them as a chip on the note, next to the interaction type. If you lost service, the contact is added once the note uploads and processes.
Find your new contact
- Tap Find and open the contacts tab.
- Contacts are sorted by Most recent, so new ones are at the top.
The contact's page shows a Created from note card. Tap it to open the note.
Fix or delete the contact
- Open the contact.
- Tap the ⋯ menu.
- Tap Edit to fix their details, or Delete to remove the contact. Your note and its transcript stay as they are.
Say the phrase. Voze only creates a contact when you say "create contact" or "create new contact." Mentioning someone without the phrase won't add them. Typed notes don't create contacts, only recorded ones.
It goes on the note's company. The contact is always added to the company your note is for, even if you mention another company. If the person's company isn't in Voze yet, add the company and the contact by hand.
No duplicate check or notification yet. If the person is already in Voze, you'll get a second contact. Delete the extra from the ⋯ menu. Voze also won't notify you when a contact is added, so check Find, where new contacts are at the top.
