Vertical · PPE & Safety

Every plant has a safety officer. Most of them, you only hear from after something goes wrong.

PPE and safety distribution reps call on plant EHS managers, safety officers, and procurement teams across manufacturing, construction, and energy. Voze turns 30 seconds of voice into structured account updates — plant incidents, EHS contact changes, compliance triggers, and new safety contracts — without anyone touching a form.

The problem in PPE & safety

Reps see everything. Almost none of it makes it back.

Three patterns we hear from every PPE and safety distributor we talk to — before we show them Voze.

Pattern 01

Plant incidents are buying signals you find out about months late.

An arc flash, a fall, a chemical exposure. The plant immediately reviews its PPE program. Your rep hears about it on the next visit. By the time the incident makes it into your pipeline, the spec was already written around someone else's catalog.

"The first 48 hours after an incident is the whole sale. We usually find out on week three."
Pattern 02

EHS personnel changes reset the relationship.

A new safety officer walks in. They want to evaluate everything — gloves, respirators, fall protection, hi-vis. Your rep meets them, makes a great impression, drives away. The notes never make it back. Inside sales has no idea there's a new buyer to nurture.

"Every new EHS hire is a 12-month re-spec opportunity. We catch a fraction of them."
Pattern 03

Compliance deadlines come and go without quoting.

OSHA respiratory deadline. ANSI Z87 update on eye protection. A new hi-vis class requirement for a customer's site. Your reps hear about these as they happen. Without a system to capture and route the trigger, the deadline passes and the customer buys whatever showed up at the counter first.

"We're the safety experts. We should be quoting these before the buyer Googles them."
How Voze works for PPE & safety

Three steps, tuned to the plant floor.

Same Voze loop, vocabulary and signal weighting tuned for PPE and safety distributors selling into plant EHS, procurement, and contractor safety teams.

01

Rep talks after the visit.

From the parking lot of a manufacturing plant, from a jobsite trailer, from the cab between two safety walkthroughs. 30 seconds of voice replaces the safety-audit-debrief no rep has time to type up.

What the rep says
"Bauer Manufacturing · arc flash incident on Line 3 yesterday · plant manager wants full PPE program review · new safety officer Sarah Mendoza starting next week."
02

Voze parses the safety vocabulary.

Account, incident type, EHS role, compliance program, follow-up — extracted automatically. Your ERP records update. Inside sales gets the incident-triggered opportunity before the plant calls a different distributor.

What gets structured
Account: Bauer Mfg · Incident: arc flash · Program: PPE review · Contact: Sarah Mendoza (new EHS) · Task: Quote arc-rated PPE by Fri
03

Manager sees the territory.

By Monday — incident-triggered PPE opportunities rolling up, new EHS contacts mapped per account, compliance deadlines ranked by date. Inside sales acts on warm signals same day, not after the deadline passes.

What you see Monday
4 incident-triggered PPE reviews · 12 new EHS contacts this month · 17 compliance deadlines in next 60 days

Customer story · PPE & Safety

How safety distributors turn incidents into long-term program wins.

With Voze, safety reps capture every plant incident, EHS contact change, and compliance trigger in 30 seconds of voice. Inside sales turns the next-day quote into a full program review — and the next twelve months of PPE spend stay with you instead of moving to the next distributor in the rotation.

"The first 48 hours after an incident is the whole sale. Voze is the first tool that gets us there in time."

PPE & Safety FAQ

Common questions from safety distribution leaders.

How does Voze integrate with our ERP — Eclipse, NetSuite, or NDS?
Voze ships pre-built setups for HubSpot and Salesforce — turn them on yourself from Voze Web (Settings → Integrations). Eclipse, NetSuite, NDS, and other ERPs connect through Zapier's 8,000+ app library, so account updates, notes, and follow-up tasks flow into the records your inside sales team already works from. If you'd rather have a native connector, our integrations team can usually build one.
How does Voze handle plant-incident signals?
When a rep captures a voice note that mentions an incident — arc flash, fall, chemical exposure, near-miss, citation — Voze tags it with the plant, the incident type, and the program area it implicates (respiratory, fall protection, electrical, chemical, etc.). The signal routes to inside sales the same day, so a quote can hit the EHS officer's inbox before they finish writing the corrective action report.
Can Voze track EHS personnel changes across our accounts?
Yes. When a rep hears that a new safety officer, EHS manager, or plant procurement contact has started (or that someone has left), Voze captures the change, surfaces it on the account record, and flags it for relationship-rebuild outreach. You see new-EHS-contact opportunities as their own queue, so you don't lose 12 months of program spend to relationship reset.
What about compliance deadlines — OSHA, ANSI, customer-specific?
Reps capture compliance triggers the same way they capture incidents — a mention of an OSHA respiratory deadline, an ANSI Z87 update, a customer's new hi-vis class requirement, an audit finding. Voze tags the trigger with the deadline date and routes it to inside sales, ranked by date. Deadlines stop slipping past without a quote.
How long does rollout take across multiple branches?
Most multi-branch safety distributors are fully live in 3-4 weeks. Week one is a 30-minute training session per branch. Weeks 2-4 are signal calibration with your sales leadership — making sure the signal weighting matches how you actually sell (incident vs. compliance vs. EHS change). Adoption typically passes 80% by week 6.
