A rep talks through a visit in Spanish, the way they'd tell it to a coworker, and the note is logged just like that. Now an English version fills in right under it, so whoever reads the note next can follow along, and the rep's own words stay put.
What we heard
One sales team's managers wanted to read their reps' notes in English. The reps record in Spanish, and a translation that replaced the original left them with notes they couldn't use on their own visits. They wanted both: the note as the rep said it, and an English version for everyone else who reads it.
What's different now
When a rep logs a note in Spanish (or another language), Voze adds an English translation in an English field under the note. It fills in on its own, like other Voze Extracted Fields, and the original narrative doesn't change. The rep keeps working in the language they think in, and the manager reads the English on the same note.
How to use it
- Ask your CSM or email support@voze.com to turn it on for your account. It isn't on by default.
- Open a note logged in Spanish (or another language) after that. The English version is in the English field, under the narrative.
- It applies to notes logged after it's turned on.
What to do next
If some of your reps would rather talk through a visit in Spanish, ask us to turn it on, and let them record the way they talk. You can stop asking for a second write-up in English.
Heard something in the field we should fix? Tell your CSM or email support@voze.com. That's how this one started.
