Create a contact just by saying their name in Voze Pro

You meet someone new on a visit, mention them in your note, and head to the next stop. Now that's enough to get them into Voze. Say create contact or create new contact and their name while you record, and Voze adds them to that company once your note processes.

Why we built it

Reps talk about new people in their notes all the time. Stopping to fill out a contact form between stops is another story. So the new shop manager or parts buyer you met once often stayed a name in a note, and the company's contact list fell behind who you actually know.

What's different now

• While you record a note, say "create contact" or "create new contact" and the person's name. A first name is all Voze needs. Say their last name, job title, phone or mobile number, or email too, and Voze fills those in.
• Once your note finishes processing, the contact is added to the note's company and linked to the note. You'll see them as a chip on the note, and their contact page shows a Created from note card that opens the note.
• Met more than one person? Say the phrase again for each one. You can add up to 10 contacts in one note.
• Your note is done when you tap ✓. It never waits on the contact, and the contact shows up as soon as the note finishes processing. Lost service? The contact is added once your note uploads and processes.
• Got something wrong? Tap the ⋯ menu on the contact to edit or delete it. Deleting the contact leaves your note as it was.

How to use it

1. Start a note for a company that's already in Voze and tap the microphone.
2. Say the phrase, then who you met. For example: "Create new contact, Javier Sanchez, he's the shop manager."
3. Finish your note and tap ✓.
4. After it processes, open Find. Contacts are sorted by Most recent, so the new contact is at the top.

Good to know: Voze only creates a contact when you say the phrase, and only from recorded notes, not typed ones. The contact always goes on the company your note is for, so add a new company first. Voze doesn't check for duplicates yet, and it won't send you a notification. Check Find to see what was added.
